Handshake Marketing Kit
Our goal is to give ALL students the chance to connect with the job search, networking, and research opportunities available on Handshake. To do so, we need your help!
How to Use the Kit
Download Files for Digital Use: This kit includes files you can download to market Handshake to your target audience at the University of Minnesota. You are free to make edits to add unit/college/campus specific branding, but please do not edit original files. Rather, download the design file, or if working in Google Drive, save a copy (right click on a file and select “Make a Copy”) and work off the copied version.
Print Marketing Material: We ask that each career unit take care of their own printing needs. Other departments, please contact handshake@umn.edu if you would like Handshake posters, postcards, or business cards.
- Suggested printing vendors: We have used and recommend UMN Printing Services, FedEx, and GotPrint. GotPrint tends to have the lowest prices while UMN Printing Services provides great quality.
For questions, contact handshake@umn.edu.

Suggested use: Post in department and staff offices, interview centers, resources rooms, and common areas such as the student unions or RecWell.

Handshake at a Glance

Postcards
Suggested use: For resource fairs, information packets, and front desks. Includes basic information about Handshake and is a good quick introduction if the person isn’t aware of Handshake.

Business Card
Suggested use: For front desks, staff offices, information packets, etc. Includes minimal information about Handshake. Ideal when the recipient has heard about Handshake, and you want to give them a physical reminder where to follow up.
