Most University of Minnesota colleges offer career services for 1-2 years after graduation. Your college's career center will have more specific information on access, events, job search resources, and networking. We encourage you to reach out. List of career offices
Job Search Resources
As an alum, you have access to your college's career office for a period of time after graduation (typically 1-2 years). After that, you have access to many of our online resources. We also recommend Minnesota CareerForce for individualized support. MNCareerForce is a resource for job seekers in Minnesota that offers guidance on writing resumes, interviewing, and job searches (free of charge). Additionally, the Minnesota Career Development Network publishes a list of private career consultants.
Events and Information
Our most popular event for recent alumni is our annual UMN Job & Internship Fair. It is open to alumni for up to 3 years after graduation. As an alum, you also have lifetime access to GoldPASS powered by Handshake, which lists all career events on campus, many of which are open to graduates.
