When: Friday, February 2nd 2024, 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm CST The Increasing Diversity in Environmental Careers (IDEC) Program is offering a 10-week paid summer Rotational Internship for college freshmen. Those applying should be interested in learning about conservation and natural resource careers at the state level and identity as BIPOC, woman, or an individual with disabilities. STEM degree (major or minor) is not required. If selected, students will meet as a cohort and rotate between the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and the Minnesota Board of Water & Soil Resources. Students will explore potential career paths, community engagement efforts, and research projects. + 10 weeks – June 3rd to August 9th, 2024 + $17 per hour (40 hours per week – Monday through Friday) + Daily travel accommodations + Hybrid with most in-person days & field trips taking place in the Twin Cities metro area + Housing or housing stipends are not provided
